The European Mobile Lab unit, that was formerly performing diagnostics in Foya, Liberia, was relocated to Freetown, Sierra Leone, 11th December 2014. This unit operates now at the Hastings site. A sixth team was dispatched to Freetown, consisting of one scientist and one technician from the Bundeswehr Institute for Microbiology, Munich, one scientists from the Robert-Koch-Institute in Berlin and one scientists from the Bernhard-Nocht-Institute in Hamburg.
