The European Mobile Laboratory Consortium dispatched a second Team to Liberia.

The European Mobile Laboratory Consortium dispatched the second team to Liberia, to relieve the first team, that was providing diagnostics for Ebola Virus Disease in Foya since 13th September 2014.

The European Mobile Laboratory Consortium (EMLab) currently provides diagnostic service for Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) in Guéckédou, Guinea, and Foya, Liberia. The laboratory unit in Foya was set up and is operational since 13th September. The first team was relieved by the second team, that traveled to Liberia 29th September. The second team is composed of scientists from Public Health England and the Carlos III Public Health National Institute, Spain.
